  • Prior Authorization Services
Team of experts working with patients’ health plans to cover the cost of medication.
  • Financial Assistance
Our team assists with finding financial help from many patient assistance programs so patients can afford their specialty medications. Apovia can purchase many medications at a very low price so patients can receive a deep discount and sometimes receive medication free of charge.
  • Convenient Home Delivery / Clinic Pick Up
Patients can choose to have their medication home delivered or can pick up at the pharmacy.
  • Refill Reminders
Our team personally calls patients before they are due for a medication refill to help them take their medicine as ordered. If patients have any problems or questions they can talk to one of our pharmacists.
  • Patient Education
Our pharmacists and clinical staff work together to educate patients so they understand why it’s important to take their medicine, how best to take their medicine and answer any questions. Also, pharmacists will explain what potential side effects may occur and what patients should do if they experience a side effect. Our pharmacists follow science-based guidelines on how they educate patients to ensure patients are knowledgeable about their medicine and medical condition. For patients prescribed a self-injectable medicine which requires training on how to inject their medicine, our team will help patients receive this needed training.
  • 24/7 On Call Pharmacist
If a patient has any questions or concerns about their medicine, they can speak to a pharmacist any time by calling 267-901-0000.
  • Adherence Programs
Helping patients take their medicines so they can get the most benefit is a high priority at Apovia Pharmacy. This involves all the services listed above and monitoring patients who are and are not taking their medicine as prescribed by their doctor. Patients who are not taking their medicine as prescribed will be contacted by our staff to evaluate why the patient is not taking their medicine. A care plan will be created to guide follow up with the patient, and if needed, the patient’s doctor may be contacted to help the patient receive the most appropriate therapy.
